Ingredients

  • 50 wrappers wonton wrappers or store bought

For the filling

  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1.4 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined, chopped
  • 2 teaspoon ginger, peeled and grated
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon Dry Sherry Wine (or Shaoxing wine)
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar, white granulated
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper or black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder

Instructions

For the wontons

  1. In a large mixing bowl or food processor, add finely chopped shrimp. Add all the filling ingredients and combine well until forms a sticky paste.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and fill with a spoon of shrimp paste into the center. Do not over stuff.
