Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, medium sized, deveined, tails attached and head removed
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups cooking oil
Instructions
- Butterfly the shrimp: Cut halfway through the front of the shrimp to form a butterfly-like figure by using a knife.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, paprika, and pepper
- Heat a large pot over medium high heat. Add oil.
- In a shallow bowl, add the flour and beat the eggs in another bowl.
