Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, medium sized, deveined, tails attached and head removed
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Butterfly the shrimp: Cut halfway through the front of the shrimp to form a butterfly-like figure by using a knife.
  2. Season with garlic powder, salt, paprika, and pepper
