Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo – Tips and Tricks

Reserve that pasta water! Starchy pasta water is your secret weapon for creating a silky smooth sauce. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining to adjust the consistency of your alfredo.

Don’t overcook the protein: Both chicken and shrimp cook quickly, so aim for a tender and juicy texture.

Fresh is best: Grated parmesan cheese melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese, creating a creamier sauce.

Recipe Variations

Veggie Delight: Incorporate your favorite sautéed vegetables like broccoli florets, peas, or chopped asparagus for added color, nutrients, and texture.

Spicy Twist: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a touch of sriracha to the sauce for a kick of heat.

Protein Powerhouse: Swap the chicken for shredded turkey or lean ground beef for a different protein option.
