Why you will love this recipe

This recipe is all about using simple ingredients to create maximum flavor. Fresh garlic, juicy shrimp, and a touch of savory sauce come together to coat perfectly cooked noodles for a satisfying and healthy meal. Plus, it’s incredibly versatile! We’ll cover some delicious variations to keep your taste buds happy throughout the week.

Garlic Shrimp Noodles – Tips & Tricks

Don’t Overcook the Shrimp: Shrimp cooks quickly, so be mindful of the cooking time. Overcooked shrimp will become rubbery.

The Power of Pasta Water: That starchy pasta water is gold! Reserve some before draining your noodles. It helps create a silky sauce that perfectly coats the noodles.

Fresh is Best: Fresh garlic is key for the best flavor. Pre-chopped garlic can work in a pinch, but fresh will deliver a brighter, more nuanced taste.

Recipe Variations

Spicy Garlic Noodles: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the pan with the garlic for a spicy kick.

Creamy Garlic Noodles: Stir in a splash of heavy cream or full-fat coconut milk to the sauce for a richer, creamier texture.

Sesame Garlic Noodles: Toast 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds in a dry skillet until golden brown. Add them to the finished dish for a nutty flavor and a textural contrast.

Protein: For an extra protein boost, add cooked chicken or tofu alongside the shrimp.

Veggie Lovers: Get your daily dose of veggies by incorporating chopped broccoli, red bell pepper, snow peas, or baby corn. Add them to the pan with the shrimp and cook until tender-crisp.

Asian-Inspired Twist: Swap the soy sauce for a mixture of equal parts soy sauce and oyster sauce for a deeper Asian flavor profile. You can also add a teaspoon of grated ginger for an extra kick.

How to Serve This Best Garlic Shrimp Noodles?

These are delicious on their own, but you can also pair them with a simple side salad or steamed vegetables for a more complete meal.

For a fun twist, serve them over a bed of brown rice for a heartier option.

How to Store The Leftover Garlic Noodles Shrimp?

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. However, the shrimp texture might deteriorate slightly.

Reheat gently in a pan over medium heat, adding a splash of water or broth to prevent drying out.
