For Peel and Eat Shrimp
- 1 lb 21-25 count (per pound) shrimp shell on
- 12 ounces beer your favorite brand
- 2 tbsp. old bay seasoning for cooking
- 1 tbsp. pickling spice for cooking
- 1 lemon cut in half, juiced
- A tbsp. old bay seasoning, for seasoning
- lemon slices garnish
For the Cocktail Sauce
- ½ cup Heinz chili sauce
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 3-4 teaspoon prepared horseradish
Instructions
- In a saucepan fill halfway with water, add the Old Bay, beer, pickling spice and the freshly squeezed lemon into the water.
- Bring water to a boil, then add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-4 minutes or until perfectly done. Drain and discard the lemon.
- In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, horseradish, and chili sauce.
- Adjust the amount of horseradish to spice up.
