- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup scallions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons parsley, freshly chopped
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
Instructions
