Shrimp Chop Suey – Tips and Tricks

Marinate the shrimp: Marinating the shrimp in the cornstarch, soy sauce, and pepper for 10 minutes helps to tenderize them and lock in flavor.

Prep is key: Chop all your vegetables beforehand to ensure a smooth and speedy stir-frying process.

Don’t overcrowd the pan: This will steam the vegetables instead of giving them that nice sear. Cook the shrimp and vegetables in batches if necessary.

Thicken the sauce: The cornstarch slurry is what thickens the sauce. Add it gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
