  • 1 pound shrimp, (large sized) peeled and deveined, tails attached
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 (15- ounce can) diced fire-roasted tomatoes, or plain fire-roasted tomatoes
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup parsley, freshly chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the shrimp. Season with salt and 1 tsp. of pepper flakes.
  2. Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute. Transfer the shrimp to a plate along with all the juices.
